Joy and celebration are hallmarks of the Christian life, and one of the ways we rejoice is to dance. Some believers do not think dance is appropriate in worship, but I tell them that God is the Creator of dance and that it pleases Him when there is joy and dancing within the parameters of holiness. Dance can and should be used to break bondages and strongholds. It can be a form of warfare that defeats the influences of the enemy and brings joy by declaring that God has saved us!….All things considered, there is wisdom in having consecrated, trained dance teams who are able to lead an entire congregation in expressions of joy to the King….If there is dancing in heaven, why should we despite it on earth?
