geez…i can’t tell you how bad i’ve missed these talks with my dad. i know church has been getting really busy and the construction project has taken a lot of time, but i frickin’ love spending time with my dad.

tonight, we talked about the importance of character and how it’s stupid to think you can do anything for God without character haha. but forreal…so many people think that by just doing godly things they’ll be able to receive God’s favor. but it’s soo much more than that. only through obedience and true submission can you please God. it’s not how many times you go to church or how many right things you say, but how much of your heart are you devoting to God. now, it’s important to do the right things after having Christ’s character in you. but it is impossible to fake having integrity and character forever.

i praise God for my dad cuz he only wants the best for me and that’s why he’s always pushing me to get closer to God and to serve him more and more erryday! haha.
